am not exactly happy the way 'g' turned out.. but it still manages to be the part of the family.

yep! people tend to scribble their names over and over again. I myself had tried writing two names overlapping each other; like crossroads; like resting on each other (this would be apt).
The letter 'G' has really turned out weird, in an attempt to make it more complex. I feel like it has lost it's own identity or purpose. Same is the case with every other letter.
Any way nice try!
